Lindsay MacKay is a Canadian writer/director. Her most recent film, CLEAR BLUE, and thesis film for The American Film Institute, screened at over 25 film festivals including, SXSW, AFI Fest, and Palm Springs International ShortsFest, Camerimage, amongst others and was the recipient of a College Television Award (aka Student Emmy). While at AFI Lindsay was awarded the prestigious Franklin J. Schaffner Fellow Award, Richard P. Rogers Spirit of Excellence Award and Mary Pickford Endowment for academic achievement and acknowledgment of her talent as a director. Lindsay is currently working as a music video director having directed videos for Tomas Barfod, Snailhouse, teasers for Diamond Rings upcoming album and was recognised as a Top Ten finalist in the Moby / Saatchi & Saatchi music video contest. She currently lives in Los Angeles where she is developing two features WET BUM, which was named a Top 10 Finalist in the Zoetrope Screenwriting Competition and a feature length version of CLEAR BLUE as well as a TV series called BELLRINGERS. She has gained representation from Anonymous Content as a Writer/Director.
